Customers remain fully responsible for all activities carried out under their hosting account.

4. Website Security

Customers are responsible for ensuring that websites and applications hosted on our servers are secure and properly maintained.

This includes:

• Using supported software versions.
• Installing security updates promptly.
• Removing unused plugins, themes, and scripts.
• Preventing unauthorized access.

Semayra may temporarily suspend websites that pose a security risk to our infrastructure or other customers.

5. Acceptable Use

Our services may only be used for lawful purposes.

The following activities are prohibited:

• Malware distribution
• Phishing
• Spam or unsolicited email
• Copyright infringement
• Illegal content
• Fraudulent activity
• Network abuse
• Cryptocurrency mining (unless explicitly permitted)
• IRC servers
• Peer-to-peer file sharing
• Torrent trackers
• File hosting services that consume excessive resources
• Unauthorized penetration testing

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination without prior notice.

6. Shared Hosting Resource Usage

Shared Hosting is intended for standard websites and business applications.

To maintain a stable hosting environment, customers must not excessively consume shared server resources.

Activities that may result in limitations or suspension include:

• Excessive CPU usage
• Excessive RAM consumption
• Long-running PHP processes
• Extremely heavy cron jobs
• Continuous background processes
• Streaming large audio or video libraries
• Using shared hosting as cloud storage or file archival

Where practical, Semayra will notify customers before taking corrective action.

7. VPS and Dedicated Servers

Customers using VPS or Dedicated Servers are responsible for:

• Server administration (unless a managed service is included)
• Software licensing
• Security updates
• Firewall configuration
• Data integrity
• Backups

Customers are responsible for all content hosted on their servers.

8. Email Services

Email services are provided to support normal business communication.

Customers must not use our infrastructure for:

• Bulk unsolicited email
• Spam campaigns
• Email harvesting
• Phishing
• Mass mailing that negatively impacts server performance

Accounts generating excessive email abuse may be suspended.

9. Backups

Unless a managed backup service is specifically included or purchased, customers are solely responsible for maintaining backups of their websites, databases, emails, and other data.

While Semayra may perform courtesy backups for operational purposes, these are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon as the only copy of your data.

Semayra is not responsible for data loss resulting from hardware failure, software issues, security incidents, user error, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Suspension and Termination

Semayra reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where:

• These Terms are violated.
• Illegal activity is detected.
• Abuse complaints remain unresolved.
• Services threaten server stability or security.
• Payment obligations remain outstanding.

Where appropriate, customers will be given an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent termination.

11. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable hosting services and perform scheduled maintenance as needed to maintain security and performance.

Service interruptions may occasionally occur due to maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, hardware failures, or circumstances beyond our control.

12. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Semayra shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Semayra, its employees, partners, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, expenses, or legal costs arising from:

• Your use of our services.
• Content hosted on your account.
• Violation of these Terms.
• Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
